About Brendan Lynch Pharmacy

Brendan Lynch Pharmacy is located in the historical Victorian Quarter on the junction of both Coburg and Bridge street.

At our core, we believe that we are custodians of a tradition of excellence in care that came before us in the area. The building itself dates from 1843, but the Pharmacy has been in continuous existence on this site since 1821 when the first register of rates paid was recorded here. The pharmacy was set up by John James Ryan Apothecary and he in turn passed the business to Edward Brady Apothecary in 1842. The business was taken over by John Murphy Pharmaceutical Chemist in 1891 – having qualified in 1880. The Falvey’s purchased the pharmacy in 1948 and the name continues to be synonymous with the area.

We take pride in offering our clientele the very best service in health and well-being, high-end beauty products and unique giftware.

We will continue to serve our community both instore and through our new online shop.
